Pakistan's "First" anti -polio City!

Pakistan is a country striving hard for the facilitation of common man by utilization of resources.

In this effort, Islamabad has claimed to be the first city in the respective country to demolish polio from every common area with children under the age of five.

According to recent census, around 60.000 children under the age of five were found living in slums without proper shelter.

Not a single child had been missed in this polio campaign reports the health officials.

The Directorate of health services of Capital Development Authority (CDA) reported the following news with its claim carried out from 27 to 30 December 2013.

Dr Hassan Urooj (WHO) also agreed to the officials following the claim. He had also told that no child was left in this campaign.

“For this campaign youth above the age of 20 years were trained as health activists to administer drops in their respective communities and to ensure that a child once missed due to any reason should be rechecked unless the drops are administrated,” he said.

He further informed that around 151 teams were organised  having 302 workers with 35 deputy supervisors.

It is,indeed, a great and untiring effort taking its step to a  more sustainable Pakistan

Asia Cup 2014:Pakistan vs India

Ok so yesterday that is on 2nd March 2014, aired the most exciting and thrilling match for cricket lovers. India vs Pakistan  You never know who will win the match that makes this match all too exciting. India had given target of 245 to Pakistan which had although seemed distant but was yet accomplished. The game plan did flip flops in the last five overs when Pakistan was at strike. After the catch out of Umer Gul, the match had seemed quite out of grip. Later Saeed Ajmal went out developing pressure on Pakistani team. It was all on the shoulders of Shahid Afridi which he not only suceeded but also did it quite remarkably with his last and amazing match winning six. One thing interesting is that such scenario between India and Pakistan had also occurred once during the Sharjah cup back in 1985/86 with only one wicket remaining. At that time,Javaid Miandad had hit the match winning sixer and now it was Shahid Khan Afridi. There is indeed similarity in the two Asia c...

Is it racism??

Racism is never a subject that people are evident to talk on. The fact that racism still exists is shocking, not because we live in a civilized society but because such people infiltrate our society and our on going generations. The fear strikes knowing less humanity exists. A recent incident took place in Mumbai where a young Muslim brother Mohsin Mohummad Sadique Sheikh was beaten horribly without even a hint of humanity by a group of people who had worm Hindu militant wardrobe called Hindu Rashtra Sena. The 28 year old Muslim brother,Mohsin, was beaten barbarically and viciously with hockey sticks until he had given up the battle of getting up and died. What was his fault??? Why was he beaten so brutally??? The answer lies on his appearance and was beaten due to the fact he was sporting a beard. The Hindu extremists have risen up and have been encouraged in Modi's government. According to Narendre Modi , India would flourish after he is brought to power and 'good days...
