Food; the first thing that comes to my mind when I think about life is all the delicious cuisines available for us. Desi families are usually the typical “foodies” according to me. The Pakistani culture itself promotes many food items which are hard to find during common practice. Usually Pakistani families offer a lot of food to their children as kids and well, later they all turn out to be foodies for life. But that is not the reason it is being mentioned here. The new 7UP TVC seemed to have left a huge impact on all foodies out there to contribute. 7UP has started a really cool competition #AsalFoodie to bring out our love for food. All that needs to be done is to make an amazing cover/profile on Facebook which depicts your real passion for food. Be it Chinese, BBQ, Italian, Fast food or Desi, foods and foods are everywhere to be found. There Is no doubt that there are many foodies out there trying their luck out; let’s just say this a native competition for us and the best ones would be marking their thrones as #AsalFoodie. Asia Cup 2014:Pakistan vs India

Ok so yesterday that is on 2nd March 2014, aired the most exciting and thrilling match for cricket lovers. India vs Pakistan  You never know who will win the match that makes this match all too exciting. India had given target of 245 to Pakistan which had although seemed distant but was yet accomplished. The game plan did flip flops in the last five overs when Pakistan was at strike. After the catch out of Umer Gul, the match had seemed quite out of grip. Later Saeed Ajmal went out developing pressure on Pakistani team. It was all on the shoulders of Shahid Afridi which he not only suceeded but also did it quite remarkably with his last and amazing match winning six. Heat Stroke Hits Karachi !!

Ramadan Mubarak to my fellow brothers and sisters!! This post is rather a sad one to announce about my city.. With a heavy heart, I write this post about the heat stroke that surrounds Karachi. Karachi! It is a city known as "The City of lights" on account of its high life and people that reside in this particular city. It could be correct as well if I refer "was" in context to it being city of lights. Heat Stroke basically happens to a person if the body temperature rises  above 105 F. The recent heat wave has taken away 700 lives and many more are at stake, Each day, each hour a person gets admitted to hospital as a result of heat stroke.
