Everyday routine:Misleading Morning Shows

Our day starts in the morning.Morning shows are supposed to depict our everyday society such that one can learn from it for a better life. After the chores and work,Pakistani women and men take time to view morning shows either live or repeat in order to refresh themselves.

But!Is this the right thing that we showcase of our society on our media???
There was a time about a decade ago, when morning shows started from recitation of the Holy Quran on PTV followed by informative segments rather than cheap publicity as where now  the time has come that dancing, vulgarity, exposure is thought to be reflection of our society. On the contrary, it isnt!!

Organizing fake weddings such to reflect the non existent vulgar culture to attain high TRP's is such a shame for us all.The programs are viewed globally and showcasing such a culture where boy girl interaction, dressing, dancing and songs are motivated rather then the modesty taught in our religion.

There came an era that the Morning shows were quite appropriate to view and reflected a huge part of our wedding culture with the feminist activities involved. With the introduction of Pakistani media personnel following the Indian culture has led to a disaster.I dont object them since its their culture but applying that same cultural mindset in Pakistan is really unacceptable.

Dupattas are a part of our National dress yet I hardly see girls wear it now.Even if they do,they fail to carry the Eastern culture. Our youth and young generation is being misguided.
Its totally unethical to spread vulgarity through this manner. As a result of these vulgar shows and dressing. the society is taking a step closer to its doom.

At this point I would also like to mention about Faryal Ali Gauhar, the first media figure that took action against whats happening during so-called morning shows.

Think about it!!! This is not Pakistani culture!!

Asia Cup 2014:Pakistan vs India

Ok so yesterday that is on 2nd March 2014, aired the most exciting and thrilling match for cricket lovers. India vs Pakistan  You never know who will win the match that makes this match all too exciting. India had given target of 245 to Pakistan which had although seemed distant but was yet accomplished. The game plan did flip flops in the last five overs when Pakistan was at strike. After the catch out of Umer Gul, the match had seemed quite out of grip. Later Saeed Ajmal went out developing pressure on Pakistani team. It was all on the shoulders of Shahid Afridi which he not only suceeded but also did it quite remarkably with his last and amazing match winning six. One thing interesting is that such scenario between India and Pakistan had also occurred once during the Sharjah cup back in 1985/86 with only one wicket remaining. At that time,Javaid Miandad had hit the match winning sixer and now it was Shahid Khan Afridi. There is indeed similarity in the two Asia c...

Robot to the rescue: Emerging Pakistan

I am quite pleased to announce this is a good news about Pakistan. A student of MSc Sulaiman Khan  at the Institute of Physics and Electronics, University of Peshawar has earned himself an honor of devising a robot such to defuse bombs. “I got the idea from the movie. The situation in K-P was the final straw, people dying while trying to defuse bombs and save lives,” he told The Express Tribune over the phone. The student used his limited financial resources to make this robot taking the time span of three months.Approximately Rs.82000/= was consumed in the process. The student claims that if the project is well funded, he could have made a better robot with sensors and other specifications rather than compromising to give away a cheap model. “the movement assembly is like a car’s”. It is battery operated and has one arm, but another can easily be added. “The hand has a five directional motion, and the rotator cuff can move 360 degrees.” Sulaiman Khan plans on building ...
