Cricket Achievement 2013 :Pakistan

Pakistan is a developing country which is going through intense problem due to problems arising such as terrorism.
Apart from mishaps happening around the country,it has still managed to mark its fame in the field of Cricket.

Following are the proud moments of Pakistani Cricket 2013:

*Shahid Afridi

Shahid Afridi is a great right handed batsman with all rounder capabilities.
- Became the first ever player 1500+ runs
- First ever to take 50+ wickets in T20.
- Has the title to score most sixes ever.
- Maintained the best ODI bowling figure (12/7) this year.

*Sohail Tanvir

Sohail Tanvir is a left handed batsman.
- Highest scorer standing at 8th wicket.

*Misbah Ul haq.

Misbah Ul Haq is ta right handed batsman.He is the current Test and one day international captain of Pakistan cricket team.
- Crowned with the top scorer of ODI cricket.
- Given highest number of 50s in a year.
- Proved to be a great captain and most runs are scored under his captaincy.

*Saeed Ajmal

Saeed Ajmal is right arm off spin bowler along with being a right handed batsman.
- Holds the title of most wicket takers of the year 2013.

*Umar Gul

Umar Gul is a right arm fast medium bowler.
- Won Best Performance Award 2013

*Mohammad Hafeez

Mohammad Hafeez is a right arm off spin bowler which also follows of him being right handed opening batsman.
- Gained most Man Of the Match award

* Pakistan is the first Asian team to win in South Africa.

Shahzaib Ali Abbasi,aged 18, from Sukkur,Pakistan has come up                                                    recently to be recognized as Maths WonderKid around the World. Shahzaib had been announced to be in top position in Mathematics in Cambridge O-level examinations held by The Cambridge University,UK. Shahzaib also achieved regional distinction in O-level for computer studies.    His latest achievement is getting the honourable mention in International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) 2013 held in Colombia, South America, and an honourable mention in the  Asia Pacific  Mathematics Olympiad. “Shahzaib is an asset for us and for the nation,” said Shahzaib’s grandfather, Mohammad Moosa Abbasi. Heat Stroke Hits Karachi !!

Ramadan Mubarak to my fellow brothers and sisters!! This post is rather a sad one to announce about my city.. With a heavy heart, I write this post about the heat stroke that surrounds Karachi. Karachi! It is a city known as "The City of lights" on account of its high life and people that reside in this particular city. It could be correct as well if I refer "was" in context to it being city of lights. Heat Stroke basically happens to a person if the body temperature rises  above 105 F. The recent heat wave has taken away 700 lives and many more are at stake, Each day, each hour a person gets admitted to hospital as a result of heat stroke. At this situation, what can I, a normal resident do? This situation can happen at any city and one must always be prepared for it.
