World Records by Pakistan 2014

The government of Pakistan organized Pakistan Youth Festival where many World records were made.
The World recorded were also observed by the officials of Guinness Book Of World Records.

News claim that 27 distinct record were made out of which some are unique in its own form.

Many of the records were related to the physical fitness setup.Some are:

1.Most number of push-ups from the back of your hand by Sajjad Hussain.The time was limited to one hour in which he acquired 2759 push-ups beating the record of an American athlete.

2.Most number of push-ups by Mohummad Shahid in an hour.

3.Kashif Ali with 4375 pull-ups, beat Stephen Hayland.

4.Iqbal beats record of Paddy Doyle with 25693 push-ups

One of the distinct record that was made by the people collectively was that they gathered with a total of 6000 by mass to draw and promote art.
The former record for the most people gathered for the sake of art and drawing was held by China but Pakistan is the current holder of this record.

Small town Maths Genius!!!

Shahzaib Ali Abbasi,aged 18, from Sukkur,Pakistan has come up                                                    recently to be recognized as Maths WonderKid around the World. Shahzaib had been announced to be in top position in Mathematics in Cambridge O-level examinations held by The Cambridge University,UK. Shahzaib also achieved regional distinction in O-level for computer studies.    His latest achievement is getting the honourable mention in International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) 2013 held in Colombia, South America, and an honourable mention in the  Asia Pacific  Mathematics Olympiad. “Shahzaib is an asset for us and for the nation,” said Shahzaib’s grandfather, Mohammad Moosa Abbasi. Asia Cup 2014:Pakistan vs India

Ok so yesterday that is on 2nd March 2014, aired the most exciting and thrilling match for cricket lovers. India vs Pakistan  You never know who will win the match that makes this match all too exciting. India had given target of 245 to Pakistan which had although seemed distant but was yet accomplished. The game plan did flip flops in the last five overs when Pakistan was at strike. After the catch out of Umer Gul, the match had seemed quite out of grip. Later Saeed Ajmal went out developing pressure on Pakistani team. It was all on the shoulders of Shahid Afridi which he not only suceeded but also did it quite remarkably with his last and amazing match winning six. One thing interesting is that such scenario between India and Pakistan had also occurred once during the Sharjah cup back in 1985/86 with only one wicket remaining.
